i hope someone has an answer for this

i just finished a level that i have been working on using the library wad but when i save my game and try to load it back up "without changing anything" the game loads where i left off but it kinda goes into letterboxed mode and i cant move or do anything else. is this a bug that eidos does not know about or is something else wrong.

Does this occur regardless of where and what you are doing when you save it?

Yes but if i start a new game at the library and then load it works fine
